MOVED WITH COMPASSION IN CHURCH, OSANEBI DOLES OUT MILLIONS FOR SMEs

It was another round of blessing for twenty two women today in Beneku, Ndokwa East local Government area of Delta State, when the Deputy Speaker,  Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi went to worship and thank God in Christ Embassy, Beneku.

The women and even the Deputy Speaker, who never had any premonition of what God has packaged for them in church today, went to Church normally to seek God and to thank him for the new month and for his faithfulness.

Events took a different dimension in church when the Deputy Speaker, as he was addressing the congregation, paused and gave expression of his willingness to be used by God to help the down trodden, insisting that the prosperity of every believer is paramount in the heart of God and as people that have received some blessings from God, it's just natural to distribute same to the less privileged.

To that end, the Deputy Speaker called on the Church pastor and some church leaders, to select less privileged and economically weak women to be empowered to start up small and medium scale enterprises; and twenty two women who obviously needed help, were called out and were empowered with varying amounts in respect to their choice of business.

To ensure that the women were serious minded and not wasters, Osanebi took time to interview each and every one of them and to ascertain the nature of business they could do comfortably and that was how the deputy speaker in turn gave them cheques in church to immediately start up the business of their choice, tomorrow Monday.

Members of the church were stunned at the gesture but Osanebi said: "the empowerment of every Deltan is a collective mandate of any one God has privileged to handle some blessings, and not just Governor Okowa's duty alone ".

He continued: "prayers must be intensified for our leaders and government, especially the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa. Our law makers and all, whom God has privileged to be in authority".

He also revealed that as a politician,he is not deaf to the heart beat of God in his end time move. That at every opportunity he has, he utilizes it to reconcile man back to God through effective soul winning and other alternative means.

Some of the the women empowered today to enhance their prosperity includes: Mrs. Glory Edem, Mrs Isichei Nonye, Mrs Nzekwe Anna, Mrs Osanebi Blessing, Mrs Ashibudike Ngozi, mercy Ezchie, Nduka Alice, Mrs Egwuatu Fanny, Mrs Enenne Grace, Ogbuefi Charity and others.
