Do regular checks of your health status, Senior POLAD urges workers

Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, Senior Political Adviser to
Governor of Delta State.

The Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon has called on civil servants in the State to take advantage of the Governor Okowa-led administration's health care scheme in order to live a life devoid of avoidable situations that can lead to sudden death.
The Senior Political Adviser to the Governor made the call recently at the passing on of his secretary, Ms Maria Imonero which occurred on Monday 17th February 2020 at the Federal Medical Centre Asaba, after a brief illness.
Addressing staff of his office the Senior Political Adviser said it was imperative for all to carry out periodic and regular check up on their health status emphasising that an early diagnosis of any ailment can save a life.
Rt. Hon Solomon warned against carrying out self medication and the practice of patronizing medical quacks as these can be fatal.
He said there was need to invite qualified and reputable medical practitioners to give workers pep talks on health matters that would guide their daily lives.
The Senior Political Adviser to the Governor commiserated with the family of the diseased and other members of staff promising that the office will assist in no small measure in the funeral ceremony of Ms Maria Imonero as will be announced by the family.
Ms Maria Imonero was until her death a staff of Government House and Protocol under the Office of the Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State.
