Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has nominated Chief
Clement Ofuani, one time commissioner for economic planning for the juicy
position of Director General of the Delta State Capital Territory Development
Agency (DSTCTDA).
In a message to the Speaker, Delta state House of Assembly,
Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya and read on the floor of the House Tuesday, seeking the
House confirmation of the nomination, and following a motion to accept the
governor’s message moved by Majority leader, Hon. Tim Owefere, and seconded by
Hon. Efe Ofobruku (Uvwie), and following a unanimous vote the Assembly directed
Chief Ofuani to appear before the legislators on Thursday, August 6th,
2015 for screening.
