Ochor Political group debunks insinuations against Ochor Chris Ochor

The Ochor Chris Ochor Political Group has decried a report published by Secret Reporters against its principal, Hon. Ochor Chris Ochor, describing it as false and a figment of the imagination of the sponsors, aimed at denting his image. Director General of the Group, Hon. Powel Anuku reacting to the stories in the publications of March 1, 2016 and March 2, 2016 both of which attacked the Executive Director, Social Services Development on the board of Delta state Oil Producing Areas Development Commission(DESOPADEC), Hon. Ochor Chris Ochor, said he will not join issues with the authors of the obviously  false stories that were published in bad faith, but will make clarifications on the misconceptions raised in the stories.

Anuku said it was an agreement by the group, which included the SA’s, that since the commission has only one space for a Special Assistant to the Executive Director, that it will be good if the salary is shared to ensure that it is not only one person among the lots that will benefit from his appointments, and this was done in good faith and was agreed to by all the three SA’s involved in the decision.
“It was not meant to short change anybody, but rather to get more people empowered. Still the highest person receives N150, 000.00 monthly, and the furniture allocation was shared among the same persons with the highest getting N2.1 million”, he stated.
On the official car issue he pointed out that Hon. Ochor has not collected his official car till date, neither has the commission released nor given out any car to the Assistants to the Executive Directors, adding that this can be verified from the commission.
“Why should he divert the official car of his aide to his wife in the first place, when he had not received his own, and the wife still drives their personal Prado car”, Anuku asked rhetorically.
The DG while calling on media organisations to always cross check information sent to them, described insinuations against Hon. Ochor as unfortunate and debunked the allegations, saying that they are false, and unfounded especially, when it comes to issues of Ochor’s love for genuine empowerment of his people and followers.

He said Hon. Ochor has vowed to use his office to help his people to live a better life, and that is why he has to engage almost 50 persons, putting them directly under his pay roll. He doesn’t see himself reneging now on his vow by sacking his aides because of mere allegations that are laughable, as published by Secret Reporters.
