According to Agbo, the association was borne out of the growing need to ensure that online publishers uphold the tenets of journalism in doing their jobs.
Agbo also said there was the need to sanitize online publishing in Nigeria as it is the future of journalism in the country as it has become in developed countries.

Preach gospel with boldness, cleric admonishes Christian leaders

Bethlehem (West Bank)
Pastor Barnabas Ejeh of King’s Dominion Church, Dadin-Kowa, Jos, has admonished Christian leaders to preach the gospel with boldness.
He also urged political leaders to be selfless and sacrificial.
Ejeh, who is one of the clergy men performing the holy pilgrimage, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bethlehem, Israel, on Saturday.
NAN reports that no fewer than 20 pastors from COCIN, Roman Catholic, ECWA and Pentecostal denominations are part of the third batch of pilgrims from Plateau.
The clergy man said that the sites visited so far had authenticated the contents of scripture, urging Christian leaders therefore, to encourage their congregations to be committed to the gospel.
``The gospel of Jesus Christ is real; it is true; it is not fake because we have seen all these things. What we have seen are exactly as they are written in the scripture.
``They should preach the gospel with all boldness without doubt in their hearts.
``These things have been authenticated by the sites that we have visited and by the time we go back and give these testimonies, it is going to strengthen their faith.’’
The cleric reminded political leaders that leadership is a call to service and as such, they should put the interest of the nation and the masses above selfish interests for the good of all.
He advised them to emulate their counterparts in Israel and other developed nations by harnessing the numerous resources endowed on Nigeria by God.
``Since we came, the light has not blinked once. There has been constant light, constant water and every thing is working well.
``Like we have seen here, the people here are proud of their country; they are proud of their holy land.
``If we have visionary leaders who will have the nation and the masses at heart and if only they can invest our resources in developing our nation, things are going to be alright.’’
He advised politicians not to see politics as a business through which to enrich themselves and their immediate families.
He further said that they should draw close to God and embrace His word in order to understand His plan for Nigeria and its people.
Ejeh also reminded the pilgrims that as Christians, they should live only by the standard of the scripture.
Making reference to 1Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 21, the clergyman warned pilgrims not to copy from the holy land anything that would pollute fellow Christians back home.
``In the holy land, we have seen certain things that do not agree with the scripture at all.
``Therefore, I admonish them to judge everything by the holy scripture because whatever that does not agree with the scripture is not a standard or model for us.
``Those who came here with a vision to be revived, to be renewed by God, eventually are going to shine as light.

``As they go back, they are going to tell the people what they have seen as a confirmation of the truth of the scripture and those whose faith have been weak will be revived,’’ he said. (NAN)

Farmer urges Delta govt to encourage fish export

Mr. Fischer Ogwugwu, the President, Ufuoma United Fish Farmers Association in Delta State, has appealed to the state government to create a conducive environment that will enable the association to export fish.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State
Ogwugwu made the appeal in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Asaba on Sunday.
He said that the major challenge facing the association was the inability to process fish for export.
According to him, the association, which has more than 1,000 members, has the largest cat fish farm in West Africa.
He said that the farm, based in Ekpan, in Uwvie Local Government Area of the state, produces more than 10 tons of fish on a daily basis all year round.
"We need support from government, banks, willing partners, and even non-governmental organisations to enable us to break into the international market.
"We produce so much fish, but we don't have buyers; if we can process and package the fish and export, every member of the association will be better off.
"The local market women have taken advantage of the excess supply to the extent that they determine the prices.
“So, we want to break into the international market to earn foreign exchange and expand our businesses."
Ogwugwu stated that the fish farm has proven to be a sound investment as some micro-finance banks in the state can attest to.
The president, therefore, assured prospective investors/partners of the viability of the business and the safety of their investments.

He said that more youths would be attracted to the business if the fish value chain could be established. (NAN)

Living Faith Church to produce Bible, says Oyedepo as plans peak for Shiloh 2015

·         Reveals how Shiloh came about
The Living Faith Church, aka Winners’ Chapel International will soon begin the production of Bibles, and in various languages, Bishop David Oyedepo, Founder and president of the church has proclaimed.
Bishop Oyedepo

He announced while ministering at the pre-Shiloh all night last week that the project will cost the church millions of dollars, pointing out that the publishing house will be after the order of Tinsdale. Tinsdale is a publisher founded by Kenneth N. Taylor in 1962, to publish his paraphrase of the Epistles that he composed while commuting to work at Moody Press in Chicago.
Meanwhile preparations are in top gear for Shiloh 2015, which Bishop Oyedepo announced kicks will hold from December 8 – December 12, 2015, an event that will hold at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun state and beamed across to all viewing centres and Living Faith Churches across the globe.
Shiloh 2015 logo

Pointing out what Shiloh is all about, He declared: Shiloh is not an anniversary, a convention, or a conference of our church. Rather, Shiloh is a prophetic platform ordained for the dominion of the Winners’ family worldwide both as a Commission and as individuals.”
He explains: “Dominion here connotes:
·         Supernatural advancement after the order of Moses – 1 Sam. 12:6.
·         Supernatural enlargement after the order Abraham. Genesis 12:3.
·         Supernatural change of levels after the order of Joseph. Psalm 195:17-22.
Part of interior view of Faith Tabernacle

“Furthermore, Shiloh is a platform for taking full delivery of all our hanging inheritances in Christ – Joshua 18:3 / 2 Peter 1:3. Recently, the Spirit of the Lord began to speak to me expressly on what God is set to do at Shiloh 2015. I kept hearing ‘Next Levels. Next Levels’ over and over again.”
Therefore, Shiloh 2015 is prophetically our Next Levels Shiloh both as a church and as individuals. In addition, Shiloh 2015 shall be a platform for the rise of giants in this commission, that is:
·         Men and women greater than Abraham in riches –Gen. 24:1/Isaiah 51:1-3.
·         Men and women greater than Joseph in impact- Gen. 41:38-44.
·         Men and women greater than Solomon in Wisdom – Matt. 12;42.
·         Men and women greater than Daniel in exploits –Dan. 12;/Prov. 11:30.
·         Men and women greater than all the old testament saints put together –Matt. 11:11.”
Oyedepo said Shiloh 2015 shall be a platform of divine visitations for all participants, pointing out that God is saying, ‘I will surely visit you’ and change your story dramatically at Shiloh 2015. Just as it is written in Gen. 21: 1-7, “And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which god has spoken to him…’ He declared: “Therefore, by reason of divine encounters at Shiloh 2015, an army of giants shall be born. As it is written, ‘And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s.”- Obadiah 21.; Judges 3:15/Joel 3:11.
He said that since every divine visitation is ordained for man’s change of position- Gen. 12:1-4/Judges 6:1-14, he urged every Winner member to understand that to experience divine visitation, quality spiritual preparation is a requirement. As it is written, “And the Lord said unto Moses, go unto the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes. And be ready against the third day; for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon Mount Sinai –EX. 19:10-11; 2Chr. 27:6/Prov. 16:1.
“Therefore, if god must come down in our midst to do His strange works and to perform His strange acts, we must take personal responsibility as individuals by making adequate preparation to be fit for His visitation – Is. 28:21-32. We must also understand that no man’s faith guarantees the victory of another, as it is written: ‘The law and the prophets were until john: Since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it” - Lk. 16:16’.”

Oyedepo said this is why every man’s victory is provoked by his own faith. If it were not so, Jesus’ faith would have healed and delivered all the sick in Nazareth but He could do no mighty works because of their unbelief – Hab. 2:4/ MK. 6:5-6.
“Every Winner is therefore admonished to be highly expectant as we appear before the Lord at Shiloh 2015 for definite and undeniable encounters with God that will change the story of everyone forever,” Bishop Oyedepo said.

How Shiloh came about, by Oyedepo

Founder and President of the Living Faith Church, aka Winners’ Chapel International Bishop David Oyedepo has told the story of how Shiloh as an event came about. He said at the pre-Shiloh all night vigil held last Friday night/Saturday morning: “While waiting on the Lord back in 1998 and inquiring about God’s master plan for Canaanland, among other things, God said, He would have us gather annually at Shiloh and that as we do, he will subdue the land before us by granting speedy delivery of our enviable inheritance in Christ. As it is written: ‘And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle at the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them. And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance. And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you.’” –Josh. 18:1-3.

Pope calls slum conditions in Nairobi an injustice

Visiting one of Nairobi's many shantytowns on Friday, Pope Francis denounced conditions slum-dwellers are forced to live in, saying access to safe water is a basic human right and that everyone should have dignified, adequate housing.
Residents of the Kangemi slum lined the mud streets to welcome Francis, standing alongside goats and hens outside the corrugated tin-roofed shacks where many of the shantytown's small businesses operate: beauty parlors, cellphone "top-up" shops and storefront evangelical churches.
Pope Francis arriving Kenya, acknowleges cheers from the crowd.
Those lucky enough to score a spot at St. Joseph's parish erupted in cheers and hymns when Francis arrived, ululating and waving paper flags printed with his photo and the "Kariba Kenya" welcome that has been ubiquitous on the pope's first-ever visit to Africa.
In remarks to the crowd, Francis insisted that everyone should have access to water, a basic sewage system, garbage collection, electricity as well as schools, hospitals and sport facilities.
"To deny a family water, under any bureaucratic pretext whatsoever, is a great injustice, especially when one profits from this need," he said.
Francis, known as the "slum pope" for his ministry in Buenos Aires' shantytowns, has frequently insisted on the need for the three "Ls" — land, labor and lodging — and on Friday he focused on lodging as a critical issue facing the world amid rapid urbanization that is helping to upset Earth's delicate ecological balance.
Kangemi is one of 11 slums dotting Nairobi, East Africa's largest city, and is home to about 50,000 people. The U.N. Habitat program says some 60 percent of Nairobi's population lives on just 6 percent of the city's residential land in these unofficial settlements lacking basic sanitation or regular running water.
Francis denounced the practice of private corporations grabbing land illegally, depriving schools of their playgrounds and forcing the poor into ever more tightly packed slums, where violence and addiction are rampant.
In January, police tear-gassed schoolchildren demonstrating against the removal of their school's playground, which has been allegedly grabbed by powerful people. After an outcry, the Kenyan government declared the playground the property of the school.
"These are wounds inflicted by minorities who cling to power and wealth, who selfishly squander while a growing majority is forced to flee to abandoned, filthy and run-down peripheries," Francis said.
Francis told the residents that people forced to live in slums actually share values that wealthier neighborhoods can learn from: solidarity and looking out for one another. But he said it was unjust that entire families are forced to live in unfit housing, often at exorbitant prices.
He called for a "respectful urban integration" with concrete initiatives to provide good quality housing for all.
His message was welcomed by residents of Kangemi, who said the city only pipes in water three days a week, Tuesday through Thursday, but it's not safe to drink. Garbage collection goes to only those who can pay for it.
"Some people don't have toilets in their homes," said Emily Night, a mother of two who works at the St. Joseph's HIV counseling program. "Those that do, maybe 50 people are using it!"
Things aren't much better in nearby Kibera.
"It's difficult. There is no water. We drink well water," said Rebecca Nanzala, who attended the pope's visit with the youngest of her three children, 2-year-old Mary. "Some treat it, some don't."
Francis raised the issue of environmental deterioration in cities in his landmark encyclical "Praise Be," saying many megacities today have simply become health threats, "not only because of pollution caused by toxic emissions but also as a result of urban chaos, poor transportation, and visual pollution and noise."
After the visit to Kangemi, Francis received a rock-star welcome at Kasarani stadium, where he zoomed around the track in his open-sided popemobile to the delight of the crowd. The stadium was so packed with the faithful that many more stood outside, unable to enter.
As he tends to do when surrounded by young people, Francis ditched his prepared speech and spoke off-the-cuff at length about problems Kenyan young people are facing, including the temptation to go the way of Kenya's many corrupt officials and institutions or to go off and join an extremist group.
Francis told the crowd that the way to prevent the young from being radicalized is to give them an education and a job.
"If a young person has no work, what kind of a future does he or she have? That's where the idea of being recruited comes from," he said.
Kenyans make up the largest contingent of foreign fighters in the Somali based al-Qaida-linked extremist group al-Shabab, which has staged attacks in Kenya.
Francis also urged the kids to resist the temptation of corruption, saying it's like sugar: You develop a taste for it but it's ultimately terrible for you.
After meeting with Kenya's bishops, Francis headed to Uganda for the second leg of his trip.
On Sunday, he is due to arrive in the Central African Republic.

DPR seals off six stations in Warri over hoarding of petroleum produc

By Harris-Okon Emmanuel,Whirlwind News

No fewer than six fuel filling stations got bitter doses on Thursday in Warri, when the Department Of Petroleum Resources, DPR, sealed them for alleged hoarding of petroleum products.
This happened as some filling stations were forced to dispense fuel to the public at N80 per litre for under dispensing to the public.
The filling stations which came under DPR’s sledge hammers included, Mobil filing station by Warri Garage, Frankies Concern Ltd, Jeroh Petroleum Ltd, J. Tamah NIG. Ltd, Pagson Motors NIG Ltd,  all in Udu road, Orogun Brothers Ltd and NNPC, both at Orhovwhorun road.
But this was not without a drama when DPR discovered that the defaulting stations had stocks but refused to sell to the public and ordered that the fuel should be given out gratis, a development which brought jubilations.
But in a bid to play a fast one on DPR the filling station’s manager switched off their generating set and alleged that they had run out of fuel, an act that infuriated the DPR personnel and led to the sealing of the station.
Head of Operations Upstream Department, DPR, Mr. Obukororo Ovadje, explained that the exercise was imperative because of the hardship being faced by the public in the bid to get products, and also ensure that the marketers sold the product at the regulated pump price.
He stated that some of the stations were sealed because the marketers abandoned their filling stations and took to their heels when they  discovered that they (DPR) were coming, stressing that they had to seal them up as there was no way to check if they had products or not.
Stating that the exercise would be spread across the strata of the state, he vowed that any marketer found wanting will face stiff sanction.
For his part, Head of Public Affairs Unit, Mr. Agusa Goddey said the exercise was warning to other marketers to sit up as the DPR was poised to work for the interest of Nigerians.
.“We checked their pump and we saw that their pump was under dispensing to the tone of 11.35, which means that for every 10 litres you buy they are cheating you with about 1.3 litres. For that reason we ordered that the pump should be adjusted and they should be selling for N80 to make for the difference, which they have complied,” he said.
He denied allegations that  the DPR was conniving with the marketers to cause the artificial scarcity,  saying that ‘’DPR staff are well disciplined and can never be involved in such act’’.

Reacting to the DPR’s directive , Manager of Conoil filling station, Mr. Lawrence Oshevire, blamed the  under dispensing by his station on  mechanical failure and pledged  to service the machines immediately.

Blatter says only FIFA Congress can bar him

Suspended FIFA President Sepp Blatter said it was only the congress of soccer's governing body and not its ethics committee that could bar him from office.
Embattled Mr. Blatter
He said on Thursday in Zurich during a media interview, that it was only the parliament that could impeach an elected president.
"I'm not a FIFA official. I'm the elected president of the congress.
"If one does not agree with the way I do my job, one has to turn to the congress that elected me," he said.
Blatter, who was standing down in February after agreeing to lay down his mandate, criticised the ethics committee, which he had previously trumpeted as a key weapon in the battle against corruption after it was reformed and strengthened three years ago.
Blatter said the definition in the FIFA statutes indicated that he was not a FIFA official.
"It is humiliating for the FIFA president that the ethics committee comes and says, you are suspended and you are not allowed to go to the office anymore.
"That’s like a police order and that hurts but it doesn’t kill me, I will fight for me and for FIFA,’’ he said.
Blatter also faces a criminal investigation in Switzerland over a two million dollars payment from FIFA to Platini.
The payment was made in 2011 for work Platini had completed nine years earlier, the Swiss attorney-general's office has said.
It added that Platini was considered "between a witness and an accused person.
Blatter, reiterating comments he had made previously on the matter said contracts could be done in writing or orally.
"I had an oral contract with Michel Platini.
``In 1998, when he was done with the World Cup, I needed him to work for me, at the time, he wanted one million and I said there's no money to pay one million.

``He said you can pay me later,’’ he said. (Reuters/NAN)

Tin-Can Island customs generates N24.4bn

Mr. Eporwei Edike, Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs in charge of Zone A, Lagos, on Wednesday commended the Tin-Can Island Port Command of the service for generating N24.4 billion so far in November.
Edike gave the commendation during his official tour of the command and Port Terminal Multi-Services Ltd (PTML) command in Lagos.
Roro Port, Lagos
He said that the amount was collected by the command between Nov. 1 and Nov. 24.
He urged officers of the service to put more efforts to enable the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Col. Hameed Ali (retd) to achieve his policy, anchored on transparency, honesty and integrity.
``Forty six per cent of all containers coming to Lagos go to Apapa, while the rest comes to Tin-Can and few goes to terminal multi-services ltd.
``You should work hard, be at alert and you must collect every kobo due for government, and never collect less than the amount you are meant to collect.
``If the document or declaration of any agent is complete and cleared, do not look for faults,’’ he said.
Edike said, ``If any officer is having a problem with Single Trade Goods (STG) platform, such an officer should quickly get in touch with his or her supervisor.’'
He said that STG should not be processed in more than 15 minutes, because its delay would amount to delaying Nigerian trade.
According to him, if any officer delays STG, it means he or she is an enemy of the nation.
He remarked that a customs officer’s job was very important, claiming that the government used revenue collected by the service to pay workers in the country and provide other needs of the people.
The customs boss urged all officers not to encourage smuggling and to respect all rules and guidelines of export.
He warned female officers to desist from plaiting their hair in such a way that would not enable them to wear their beret properly.
``You ladies are also advised to stop wearing tight trousers and always dress the way it is approved by the Board, ‘’ he said.
Edeki commended officers at the PTML command for displaying discipline, and expressed confidence in the ability of the Area Commander, Mrs Talatu Isa.
``I trusted the CAC for her efficiency and hard work; that is why she was given this position, ‘’ he said.
He advised officers not to hold onto anybody’s document, adding that ``if there is any fault, such fault should be checked appropriately’’. (NAN)

NNPC engages DSS, EFCC to curb hoarding of petroleum products

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, (NNPC) has engaged the Department of State Services (DSS) and Economic and the Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to stop the hoarding and diversion of petroleum products, a statement issued by NNPC’s Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Mr Ohi Alegbe, in Abuja on Wednesday has disclosed.
The statement said the arrangement was to assist in the monitoring of nationwide fuel truck-out to retail outlets and stop hoarding by unscrupulous marketers.
It said NNPC was doing everything possible to normalise the fuel supply and distribution situation in the country, even as the Corporation apologised to commuters, motorists and the general public for the hardship faced in accessing petrol across the country.
It said the Group Executive Director Commercial and Investment of NNPC, Dr. Babatunde Adeniran, during a visit to NNPC depot in Suleja, warned the marketers against sharp practices.
``Any marketer found wanting in the sale of petroleum products, including the NNPC retail outlets would be sanctioned appropriately.
`` There will be no sacred cows as the corporation is working round the clock by supplying sufficient petroleum products to marketers to ensure that Nigerians enjoyed a yuletide season without pain.
``We must all make sure that petroleum products get across to Nigerians at the regulated price, especially as the yuletide season approaches.
``We have enough products and we want to plead with the Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD) not to be involved in the diversion of petroleum products in order to avoid causing untold hardship to motorists.”
It said the Managing Director of the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC), Mrs. Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue, said defaulters would be sanctioned.
``The DSS and EFCC will arrest any marketer involved in sabotaging government’s effort in making petrol available to Nigerians,'' the statement said.
``We have invited the EFCC and DSS to join us in this campaign of monitoring the movement of petroleum products and they have our mandate to sanction any errant marketer, enough is enough.”

The statement urged Nigerians to desist from panic buying, saying that there were sufficient petroleum products to satisfy local consumption.(NAN)

Governor Idris Wada of Kogi on Monday confirmed the death of his opponent in the Saturday governorship election, and the first civilian governor of the state, Alhaji Abubakar Audu.
Wada, who made the confirmation in a statewide broadcast to the people on Monday said Audu died on Sunday at his Ogbonicha village in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi.
The governor condoled with the family and people of the state over the demise, describing the late Audu as a man of the people who laid solid foundation for the growth and development of the state.
He then declared Monday as public holiday to enable the people, especially the civil servants to attend the burial and pay their last respect.
Wada also declared a seven-day mourning during which the national flag would fly at half mast and office activities scalled-down.

Niger Delta group seeks UN support in renewed resource control campaign

The Niger Delta Self-Determination Movement has renewed the demand for the people of the Niger Delta to control resources in their geo-political zone.
The Convener of the movement, Ms Ankio Brigs, made the appeal in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos on Monday.
``After due consultations, we came up with the position to control our resources," she asserted.
According to her, the demand for resource control is because of the lopsided nature of the revenue sharing formula in Nigeria.
Briggs pleaded with the UN to step in and assist the people of the Niger Delta in conducting a referendum to establish the will of the people on resource control.
"After due consultations with our various peoples, we have come to a conclusion and our position was reached relying on and pursuant to the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights.
"We are also relying on the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and various bills of rights in the Niger Delta.
"We also rely on the UN address by President Muhammadu Buhari at the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York on the 28th of Sept. 2015.
"The president stated in his address that the unresolved question of self-determination for the Palestinian people and those of Western Sahara, both nations having been adjusted by the UN as qualifying for this inalienable right must now be assured and fulfilled without any further delay or obstacle."
She noted that being allowed the option of self- determination would enable the Niger Delta people to exercise their right to autonomy in matters relating to their local affairs, religion, education, economic activities, lands and other natural resources.
"Pursuant to the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights, we the peoples of the Niger Delta had articulated our demand for self-determination through our various ethnic nationalities Bills of Rights.
"These include but not limited to the Ogoni Bill of Rights 1990, the Kaiama (Ijaw) Declaration 1998, the Bill of Rights of the Oron People 1999, Urhobo Bill of Rights 2002 and Efik Bill of Rights 2014, among others.
"Every state has a duty under the UN to refrain from any forcible action which can deprive indigenous peoples their right to self-determination and freedom," she argued.
Briggs said that the sharing of oil and gas revenues from the Niger Delta had always been disturbing and unacceptable to the people of the Niger Delta.
"Over the years, well-meaning Nigerians have drawn attention to the inadequacies in the current Nigerian Constitution.

The constitution did not take into consideration, the genuine desires, wishes and aspirations of the people of the Niger Delta and other minorities in Nigeria" the activist said. (NAN)

Mixed reactions greet Kogi inconclusive Guber poll

The Coalition of Civil Society, politicians and voters in Kogi have called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to intensify more efforts in educating the electorates on the need to abide by the Electoral Act.
The respondents spoke in separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) while reacting to INEC's declaration of the Nov. 21 Governorship election in the state inconclusive.
Some of the respondents said that the measures would check the unruly behaviours of voters which could lead to the cancellation of election results.
Mr. Habu-Rajan Suleiman, the secretary of the Coalition of Civil Society Groups in the state, told NAN in an interview on Sunday in Lokoja, that the education of voters on the provision of the Electoral Act was imperative in view of the circumstances that led to the cancellation of the results of the election in 91 polling units.
He, however, appealed for calm in the state, adding that the peaceful conduct of the election was the best way to achieve fair, credible and acceptable election in the country.
Also reacting to the development, the Executive Director, Centre for Human Rights and Conflict Resolution (CHRCR), Mr. Abdul Miliki, blamed the unruly behaviours of some voters on INEC's decision.
Miliki told NAN in separate interview that INEC acted in compliance with the Electoral Act, adding that the negative conduct of some of the electorates led to the snatching of ballot boxes and other anomalies which resulted in the inconclusiveness of the election.
He, however, appealed to the parties and their supporters to maintain the peace.
Mr Segun Abayomi, a civil servant, called on the electorates in the state to eschew money politics, adding that it was that kind of mindset that always brought about political crisis.
Abayomi also called on INEC to intensify effort in its voter education programme, adding that doing so would help to guide the electorates in the choice of their leaders.
Evangelist Frank Kato, who is also the Chairman of Independent Democrats (ID), an NGO, called on youths to moderate their actions and to avoid being used as ''stooges to the whims and caprices of selfish politicians''.
