Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has urged Nigerians to always acknowledge God in whatever they do.
Senator Okowa made the call on Monday (01/08/16) in Asaba at the 60th birthday celebration of Comrade Mike Okeme, the Special Adviser to the government of Delta State on Labour and Industrial Relations.

According to the governor, "if you realize and acknowledge the presence of God in your life, God will continue to bless you."
While describing Comrade Okeme as "a jolly good fellow," the Governor observed that celebrant was someone who endears himself with his style of living to anyone who comes across him.
The Governor urged the celebrant to be more prayerful and closer to God, stating, "at 60 years, you have less work to do with government but this is the time you devote more time to God and to your family."
In his homily at the thanksgiving Mass, Rev. Fr. Stephen Chukwuma said Christians should be prayerful, charitable and be faithful to God at all time.
The occasion was well attended by an array of Priests, top government functionaries, and labour leaders from different parts of the country.
