Delta City Buses had stopped plying Asaba-Ugbolu-Illah road due to the deplorable condition of the road and the consequent damage it causes to the vehicles, Managing Director of Asaba-Illah loading Bay Mr Peter Onyebuchi, had said.
Mr Peter Onyebuchi, who lamented on the plight of those living along Ugbolu axis, revealed that they have been cut off from the use of the Delta City Buses since a new route is being taken to Illah.
He stated that, the City Buses currently go to Illah through Otulu-Atuma-Akwukwu-Illah route.
He added that this development had led to one hundred percent increase in transportation cost from Asaba to Illah, by other commuters since the journey is now elongated via the current route.

While speaking, Mr Peter Onyebuchi made an appeal to the Government at all levels and Stakeholders to proffer palliative measure towards the repair of Ugbolu-Illah road in order to ameliorate the transportation challenges of the people in that axis.
