Executive in the area, on Sunday, September, 11, 2016.
Chief Iduh, who

Administration, Discipline, and Party Loyalty”, called on the executives of the
area to be good administrators, discipline, and loyal, as they are the only key
to success of the party in the area, in the next four years, and it is a task
that they must not be found wanting.
“You have been
given the huge responsibility to administer the party in the LGA for the next
four years, it is a task which you must not be found wanting in anyway,” he
said.
Speaking
further, he called on them to manage and accommodate the different characters
and personalities in the party, which he said will not be an easy task.
The party
chieftain admonished them on the need to have fair knowledge of the party’s
administrative system, as party executives.
“As party
executives, you should be disciplined, for you to have the moral fibre to
discipline erring member in accordance with the party’s constitution”.
He told the
party faithful that in knowing the party’s administrative system, and being
discipline and loyal had made Hon Ochor a longstanding and discipline member of
the party since inception.
While calling on
the members to avoid the pitfall of attaching themselves to a particular
leader, and doing his bidding, he called on the Disciplinary Committee of the
party in the area to avoid quick decision in handing down sanctions to erring
members but focus more on correcting inappropriate behaviours and reconciling
feuding parties, without compromising any section of the constitution.
Earlier in his
welcome speech, the host, Hon Ochor Ochor had told the members of the executive
to ensure total unity within the rank and file and to avoid anything that will
make the party to fail in the area in any future election.
He called on the
party members led by the executive to put the Ukwuani people, the party and the
Delta State Government under the leadership of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa first in
their day to day affairs.
“First thing you
will know is Ukwuani first, first thing you will know is PDP first, that is to
say your interest does not matter, the interest of Ukwuani matters, the
interest of PDP matters, and no more”. He said.
Calling this a
new direction for the party, he urged members to remain united and to remove
selfishness, greed, jealousy, gossip, but have hard work, loyalty, peace, and
discipline as their watch words to be a successful executive and a successful
party.
Hon Ochor, while
stressing the need for party discipline and loyalty, called on the Executive to
co-operate with the Okowa’s government, saying: “You must cooperate, it is not
a begging issue.”
While using the occasion to call on the
Independent Electoral Commission, (INEC) to further split the wards and units
in the LGA, he told the entire members of the party to ensure that Ukwuani
remains a core PDP area in the state in any future election.
